alternating.bit Presented as an afterthought of left out scraps, Elterigitaj offers yet another astonishing collection of accomplished works from the Deep Earth series. Such a diverse spectrum of sounds and vibes are featured yet all with a soothing unity that dub and minimal techno lovers can feast upon. Grainger's sonic range of creativity never ceases to end.

about

Upon revisiting the source recordings and tapes for the first year of Deep Earth, I came across five hours of solid material that was left off the monthly releases for some reason or another. I've since included these five hours on an exhaustive 16xCD-R box set (available here: coppicehalifax.bandcamp.com/album/deep-earth-year-one-compleat ), for the collectors, but I felt it would be unfair to withhold them from the subscribers, so here they are in their entirety. I've even gone one step further in creating a 4xCD-R set, for those of you who prefer physical editions to digital, which will ONLY be available for sale to subscribers, not to the general public:

At present, I'm working on finalizing EARTH 18 and 19, but I'm glad I was able to finish polishing off these unreleased pieces for an unexpected holiday surprise. I think you'll find some new favorites here, as many of these tracks are somehow more accessible than what was released - perhaps explaining their absence.
