This EP was created as a sideline during the sessions for Cedar Mast, which ended up yielding a full-length album, two remix albums and a massive double-album of drone techno excursions that are not yet released. CMR always felt microcosmic to me, consisting of five moderately sized windows to much deeper and greater horizons. The material was also principally created using analog processing and FX, making it a perfect complement to the DEEP EARTH sound.
